History – New Zealand

New Zealanders have been a part of ACCA since it first started in 1992.

Peter Fleury #3 was at the first meeting when the club was formed. Peter was based in Sydney at that time and returned to NZ in 1996. He is now living in Dunedin NZ and remains a member of ACCA.

The NZ membership slowly grew and in 2009 Allan Brookland was appointed as the NZ representative. The NZ members have a yearly get together and this is held in conjunction with the McLean’s Island swap meet which is held in Christchurch in October. The NZ membership stands at just over 30 members and we keep in contact via regular group emails.
